stravify.

Privacy policy

Stravify connects to Strava to generate activity titles and descriptions. Here is how we use your information.

What we use

When you connect, we store your Strava athlete ID, basic profile, preferences, and encrypted access and refresh tokens. We read your activities to show your dashboard and generate text. We store the generated text and selected activity details to keep a history of updates.

AI generation

We send the activity details you allow, your chosen voice, and any custom instructions or one-off activity notes to OpenAI to generate text. When no data categories are excluded, recent generated titles may be used to reduce repetition. You can exclude data categories in Personalise and choose included sports in Automation. A note you explicitly add to a manual preview may include details you excluded from automatic activity data. Notes are not saved as preferences or sent to analytics, but their details may appear in the generated text you choose to publish. Exclusions apply to future rewrites and do not remove previously stored records.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand connection, generation, update success, failures, and app usage. Events use a pseudonymous athlete identifier. We do not send activity text, custom prompts, precise locations, credentials, or email addresses in analytics events. Session recordings and automatic interaction capture are disabled. Umami provides general page analytics. Demo traffic is excluded.

Your choices

Automation is optional. When enabled, it replaces your chosen fields: the title, description, or both, for eligible new activities. You can pause automatic rewrites in Automation, change the data used in Personalise, or disconnect Strava in Account. Disconnecting removes our access tokens and stops automation; it does not revert past updates or automatically remove stored history.

Access and deletion

You can delete your profile, preferences, rewrite history and connection in Account → Account management. Deletion revokes Strava access and signs you out. It does not delete or revert activities on Strava. Reconnecting creates a new profile. Non-identifying usage totals and previously collected pseudonymous analytics are not removed by this action. Backup copies expire under our hosting providers’ retention schedules. For questions or requests concerning analytics or backup data, contact its.daryll.dev@gmail.com.

Service providers

The app uses Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database storage, Strava for activity access, OpenAI for text generation, and PostHog and Umami for analytics. Data processing is subject to each provider’s terms and policies.
